If you come at the right time of year, Cupsuptic River offers some splendid whitewater, and why not camp at King & Bartlett Lake Camp if you're here at Everett Pond. Summer at Everett Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Everett Pond. Just can't get enough of Everett Pond. Lakes are delightful; Chittenden Pond is

| | a lake that's close to Everett Pond, and great hiking is available along the Fire Warden Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little tour to Hurricane Brook, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Everett Pond; Morrell Trail is a brilliant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. area, and a perfect place to camp here at Everett Pond is Black Arrow Lodge. Go for a hike on the Bigelow Range Trail; drift down the rapids of Parlin Pond Stream in a kayak. Not far from Everett Pond, you'll discover Little Jim
Pond which is a delightful lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is pretty near. An average amount of rain falls at Everett Pond; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.

 | 10 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
