Many people like to go to Everett Pond. This is a splendid region for folks who like lakes. Little Jim Pond is a lake around here, and you can go for a hike on the Fire Warden Trail. Float down the rapids of Parlin Pond Stream in a kayak, and don't leave Everett Pond without first going for a hike along the Morrell Trail. | | month of the year is February. Going for a hike on the Bigelow Range Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Camera Hill is a peak you can observe from Everett Pond. You're in all probability into lakes, Chittenden Pond is one of those nearby; some nearby water includes Hurricane Brook. a good experience, and the snow is fine at Saddleback. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Cupsuptic River offers some fine whitewater, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sugarloaf USA is quite near.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wilson Lake Inn, and if you came to camp Black Arrow Lodge is a great site to do that.

 | 10 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
