What a nice lake Ethel Pond is. Ethel Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. The yearly rain here at Ethel Pond is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Head up to Black Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; the top of Perry Mountain is easily distinguished from Ethel Pond.
Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do near Ethel Pond. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes

| | of nearby Saddleback. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ethel Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Brook Cove Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Piazza Rock Trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at Evergreen Golf Club & Golf School. And that's not everything there is to do here in the White Mountains. here for a while, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a wonderful site for that.
Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. Sandy River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure
along the Chimney Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Ethel Pond, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's
with temperatures at Ethel Pond dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights.
Piazza Rock is a tremendous location to take a look at while in the vicinity, and paddling on Sandy River - South Branch is so much fun.
