This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Camping at Paul and Gail's Campground is always a great experience, and there are other locations here than Estes Bog, for example Upper Range Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Residence       Inn Auburn is a magnificent choice, and golf can be played at Summit Golf Course. Lakes? Sure, Middle Range Pond is in close proximity; hey, May Brook is a tremendous local stream. A delightful nearby hotel is Travelodge Lewiston. Summertime highs at Estes Bog commonly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Estes                  Bog are in the 0's. During your visit to Estes Bog you'll meet some folks from Lewiston-Auburn for sure, and Estes Bog Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Estes Bog is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is September. The summit of Black Cat Mountain can be observed from Estes Bog, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Crooked River. This lake is so wonderful.
