Hiking along the Lard Camp Trail is pleasant fun, and Schoodic Stream has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. The warmest time of the year at Endless Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the night is somewhat chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun       is down during the wintertime temperatures at Endless Lake drop into the-10's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area right next door to Endless Lake has to offer. Endless Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, South Branch Lake Camp is a splendid local campground, and whitewater paddling is good on Piscataquis River. While you're here at Endless Lake, you could also stop at pretty Lard Pond, and swamps like Caribou                  Bog in the neighborhood of Endless Lake make for nice sites to go to. Endless Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Lake Trail, and Endless Lake is a place with many visitors from Bangor. This lake is so wonderful. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Shore Trail; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites.
