Ellis Pond is right by the Big Squaw Mountain Trail. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really plentiful here at Ellis Pond. The Arnolds Trail offers hiking at its best, and Sugarloaf USA is a wonderful local ski area. Hiking along the Intake Trail is nice fun. There's so much to do here at Ellis Pond that you       need to camp here for a while, Northern Outdoors is a nice location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Ellis Pond is not the only spot close by, Round Pond is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors Bingham Motor Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Ellis Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in                  the 20's while Ellis Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. Ellis Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
