There's so much to do here at Elevenmile Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground is a good place for that. Scottish Inns Houlton is a good place to get some rest, and you can stay the night at My Brothers Place. While you're here at Elevenmile Lake you can take a hike along the Pierce Tote Road; if you come at the right time of year, Meduxnekeag River - South Branch offers some pleasant       whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. On a nice day at Elevenmile Lake you can take a hike along the Kennedy Tote Road, and after a long day outdoors Shiretown Motor Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Summer at Elevenmile Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's                  to Elevenmile Lake. From a rainfall point of view Elevenmile Lake is a quite common spot; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month. There are other places here than Elevenmile Lake, for example Tenmile Lake, and Bigrock is a very popular ski area in close proximity. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place!
