Camping is available at Cathedral Pines Camping Area, and there's wonderful hiking along the Arnold Pond Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Arnold Trail, and there's whitewater on Cupsuptic River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Through the warmest time of the year here at Elaine Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through       the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Elaine Pond. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Saddleback has good slopes and a friendly staff. Elaine Pond gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Black Arrow Lodge is a great spot to camp, and                  the Morrell Trail offers hiking at its best. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Moose River - South Branch; if you're looking for some flowing water?
