If you came to camp Loon Echo Campground is a nice location to do that, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Spencer Stream. Throughout the long summer days here at Egg Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows       during the winter for Egg Pond tend to be in the-10's. There are tremendous spots to look at along the Bald Mountain Trail, and the slopes of Sugarloaf USA are so inviting nobody can resist. Camping at Jackman Trading Post is always a glorious experience; don't miss out on a great swamp; Whipple Bog is right here at Egg Pond. Egg Pond is not the only place nearby, Moore Pond is a nearby lake, and since you're here, you could stop by Bitter Brook. Don't                  leave Egg Pond without first going for a hike along the Alder Brook Trail; get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Little Spencer Stream. This lake is so wonderful. From a rain point of view Egg Pond is a rather common place; most of the rain falls during July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading.
