You'll need more than a day to look at everything Egg Pond has to offer, you can camp at Eagle Lodge & Camps; glide down the rapids of Penobscot River in a kayak. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. Long Pond Dam is a gorgeous place near Egg Pond; Bagley Mountain is clearly visible from Egg Pond. Egg Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the wettest                  month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month. A golf course in the vicinity of Egg Pond is JATO Highland Golf Course; while you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Long Pond.
