Echo Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Echo Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Echo Lake temperatures       drop to the 0's. Hales Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and if you're popping by from Augusta-Waterville, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wilson Stream, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Lake; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a good local trail.
