What a nice lake Echo Lake is. You don’t have to go far from Echo Lake to see the water at Echo Lake Dam, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Old Dam Tote Road. Echo Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; throughout August this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bigrock, and Echo Lake is not the only spot nearby, Echo Lake is a nearby lake. Dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn; the top of North Peak is easily distinguished from Echo Lake.
But wait, there's more to do right next door to Echo Lake. Paddling on Salmon Brook is so much fun, and Crown Park Inn is a great place to get some rest.
