There's so much to do here at Eastern Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hilltop Campground is a fine place for that, and an interesting thing to stop at right next door to Eastern Lake is Orange River Dam. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Eastern Lake has to offer,       you can camp at Knowlton's Seashore Campground, and swing by Cranberry Brook it's a glorious location to explore. Eastern Lake gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls through November; the driest of the months is July. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff right next door to Eastern Lake. Do pay a visit to Roosevelt Campobello International Park since you're here at Eastern Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if                  it's for you then, we recommend Orange River. While you're here at Eastern Lake, you could also have a look at scenic Little Lake, and you obtain a great view of Estey Mountain from here. All through the warm days of summer at Eastern Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, generally in the 50's.
