Clay Cove is nearby and always great to take a look at, and going for a hike along the Alder Path Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Narraguagus River       - West Branch is so much fun. East Steuben Pond gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is August. If the weather is great here at East Steuben Pond, you can go for a hike along the Schoodic Head Trail. There's so much to do here at East Steuben Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sunset Point Campground is a brilliant place for that. That right there is a heap already, but it carries                  on; East Steuben Pond has it all. You could also stop by Chair Pond since you're here at East Steuben Pond; it's close by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything East Steuben Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mainayr Campground. For the period of the summer highs here at East Steuben Pond get into the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at East Steuben Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
