Swamps like Orson Bog near East Pond make for perfect places to go to; if you came for an overnight stay Jo-mary Lake Campground is a tremendous spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Pleasant River - East Branch is so much fun; hiking is a popular thing to do around East Pond; Packards Trail is a magnificent local trail. You'll hit upon a beautiful       lake called Horseshoe Pond near East Pond. Summer brings highs in the 70's to East Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while East Pond night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-10's.
