Summertime highs at East Machias River Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at East Machias River Reservoir. So much fun stuff to do here at East Machias River Reservoir, too wonderful to be true. Cobscook Bay State Park is a nice campground nearby,       and you have to beyond doubt check out picturesque Jasper Beach while you're here. Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a splendid place close to East Machias River Reservoir; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Chase Mills Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Chase Mills Stream is a gorgeous stream that is worth taking a look at, and since you're here you should visit Crocker Point. Stay the night at Great Cove Golf Course and RV Park; why                  not take a refreshing hike along the Mud Hole Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Northern Inlet, and if you want to hit the beach, Davis Beach is close by. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day you can visit Sanborn Marsh, a swamp right next door to East Machias River Reservoir, and The Rim is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. Do check out Bangor Hydro Dam since you're here at East Machias River Reservoir, and one of the governing marks of the surroundings of East Machias River Reservoir is Days Head.
