Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Baskahegan Stream, and if you came for an overnight stay Mountain View Campground is a good location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Mud Lake; if you need a spot to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a perfect       choice. At East Grand Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at East Grand Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Forest City Stream flows through this neighborhood, and why not camp at Greenland Cove Campground since you're here at East Grand Lake. From a precipitation point of view East Grand Lake is a quite common location;                  the month with most of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You could also pop by Booming Ground while you're here at East Grand Lake; it's nearby, and if the weather is lovely, you obtain a tremendous vista of Walls Hill from East Grand Lake. Don't leave East Grand Lake without first paying a visit to Mud Lake Falls; float down the rapids of Baskahegan Stream in a kayak.
