The Telephone Trail is a great hiking trail near Eagle Lake, and Round Pond is a great lake       close by. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Eagle Lake; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. Any time is a great time at Eagle Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Chase Carry is always a pleasant adventure. Near Eagle Lake you discover the Carry Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Allagash Stream. This lake is so wonderful.
