Eagle Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You get a fine panorama of Jimmies Mountain from Eagle Lake, and Eagle Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Cold Spring Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay White Birches Country Club is a good choice; hey, Eagle Brook is a splendid local stream. Nicatous Stream has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and hiking along the Lead Mountain

In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Narraguagus River.
