There are some fine whitewater spots on Union River - East Branch, and nearby you stumble on the Old Gold Mine Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Eagle Lake Trail is always a splendid adventure, and dry warm beds await you at White Birches Country Club. Dutton Pond is a wet location that gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally November,                  that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February. You simply ought to like Dutton Pond. A tour to Silsby Plain revitalizes the soul, and if you come at the right time of year, Union River - West Branch offers some tremendous whitewater. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Dutton Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Dutton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A good location to camp here at Dutton Pond is Eastbrook Campground. Lakes?
