Hall Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bald Mountain Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Penobscot River - South Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Duncan Pond is right by the Alder Brook Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Duncan Pond has to offer, you can camp at Moose River Campground. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Duncan Pond. South Branch Brook
