You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Dumpling Pond. Rolfe Brook flows through this vicinity, and you'll find a delightful lake called Coffee Pond. Swamps can be such interesting sites, go to The Heath since you're here at Dumpling Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dumpling Pond you       will meet lots of folks from nearby Portland-South Portland, and right next door to Dumpling Pond you discover a golf course called Summit Golf Course. After a long day outdoors Pleasant Mountain Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two; good skiing awaits you at Lost Valley. High temperatures at Dumpling Pond throughout the warm months are in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter                  highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Dumpling Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Kingsley Pines Camp is a splendid campground nearby, and while you're here, you could also visit picturesque Owl Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Kokatosi Campground is a nice local campground; Shawnee Peak has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. Get wet paddling on Crooked River, and you are in the vicinity of Pine Point if you're here.
