That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Duds Pond has it all. Duds Pond is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Cold Spring Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and if you need       a location to stay White Birches Country Club is a tremendous choice. Don't leave Duds Pond without first going for a hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Union River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. There are fine locations to look at along the Lead Mountain Trail, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Union River - West Branch. All through the days of summer,                  highs commonly are in the 70's at Duds Pond while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Duds Pond.
