Summertime at Duck Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Duck Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Pleasant River, and a lake close by is Barren       Pond. So much exciting stuff to do at Duck Pond, so little time. Places like The Middle Grounds are perfect to have a look at, obviously you could also take a look at Goose Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Duck Pond gets a lot of water; through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. A swamp like Beech Hill Heath near Duck Pond has lots of exciting things to see; get yourself into a kayak and hit Mopang                  Stream. If you came for an overnight stay Mainayr Campground is a glorious location to camp, and do have a look at Barren Pond Brook if you're here at Duck Pond.
