     There are other places here than Duck Pond, for example Cooper Pond. There's so much to do here at Duck Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Chimney Pond Campground is a good place for that. Good hiking is available along the Packards Trail, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Mud Pond. An average amount of rain falls at Duck Pond; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.  
   Some of the water close by flows, like Cooper Brook, and Pleasant River - East Branch is a delightful whitewater spot close by.
This place, Duck Pond, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Duck Pond has to offer, you can camp at Big Moose Campground, and there are glorious locations to look at along the Telephone Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Duck Pond without first going for a hike along
 
               the Jo-Mary Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nahmakanta Stream. At Duck Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Duck Pond.
