Dry Pond is a lake worth visiting. The cheerful people of Bangor like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The Dudley Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Dry Pond, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Depot Pond is just a very short distance away. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Dry Pond called the Cathedral Trail, and Table Land is an exciting thing to spot if you're here. Looking for something close

| | to Dry Pond? Chunney Pond is close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Roaring Brook Campground is a delightful place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Saddle Trail is always a brilliant adventure; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream River. why not camp at Chimney Pond Campground while you're here at Dry Pond. Katahdin Inn is a fine location to get some rest; whitewater paddling is great on Sandy Stream. Throughout the summertime months at Dry Pond highs are mostly
in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Dry Pond. From a rainfall point of view Dry Pond is a reasonably common spot; through
July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. A tour to Caribou Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings, and at Dry Pond you can catch a glimpse of Baxter Peak.
