Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Temple Stream, and if you get bored of Drury Pond you could also visit nearby Mud Pond. There are some fine whitewater spots on Sandy River, and if you came to camp Twin Pond Campground is a great place to do that. A good view of pretty Caldin Hill is available from Drury Pond, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to see at Staples Pond Dam close to Drury Pond. This lake is

| | so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wilson Lake Inn. There's so much to do here at Drury Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Nor 40 Campground is a good spot for that. The high level of rainfall makes Drury Pond a rather wet site; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. is worth stopping at, and Drury Pond is not the only place nearby, Staples Pond is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Sugarloaf USA has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites
is a splendid choice; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Titcomb. High temperatures at Drury Pond through the summer are in the 70's; the night is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Drury Pond.
