This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Chimney Pond Campground if you're here at Draper Pond, and why not a little side visit to Annis Brook. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. You need to go to Snub Pitch since you're here at Draper Pond, and going for a hike on the Old Pogy Road is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful.       Whitewater paddling is great on Nesowadnehunk Stream, and you acquire a great vista of North Pogy Mountain from here. An average amount of rain falls at Draper Pond; July is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream River; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a good place to spend a night or two.                  Summer brings highs in the 70's to Draper Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Draper Pond through the wintertime typically sink into the-10's. A glorious spot to camp here at Draper Pond is South Branch Pond Campground, and don't leave Draper Pond without first going for a hike along the Northwest Basin Trail.
