If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Draper Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Draper Pond, for example Six Ponds, and soar down the rapids of Nesowadnehunk Stream River in a kayak. Long Pond is a splendid lake in the vicinity of Draper Pond, and if you came to camp South Branch Pond Campground is a wonderful place to do that. Why not stop at close by Annis Brook while you're here at Draper Pond;

| | why not take a refreshing hike along the Howe. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Green Falls, and Katahdin Inn is a good site to get some rest. You need to take a look at Snub Pitch while you're here at Draper Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Draper Pond; Old Pogy Road is a great local trail. Pond reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Draper Pond. Draper Pond gets a
common amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
