tremendous, and you can stay the night at Chimney Pond Campground. A normal amount of rain falls here at Draper Pond; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month. This
lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Katahdin Inn is a great choice; the Northwest Basin Trail offers hiking at its best. South Branch Pond Campground is a fine campground nearby; paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream is so
much fun. There's nice hiking along the Howe, and Nesowadnehunk Stream River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
