If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. There's whitewater on Narraguagus River - West Branch for all you adrenaline kick people; why not a little side visit to Black Rock Brook. Downing Pond is a pretty wet place usually with lots of precipitation; all through November this area sees the

A delightful nearby hotel is Bar Harbor Inn, and Downing Pond is not the only spot close by, Round Pond is a close by lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Narraguagus River, and camping at Mainayr Campground is always a perfect experience.
