Sure, Sebasticook River Reservoir is nearby, and Douglas Pond is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Nature Way's Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby. Douglas Pond is a wet spot that gets lots of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Mill Pond is a magnificent lake right next door to Douglas Pond, and playing golf is lots of fun at Parks J       W Golf Course. If you need a site to stay Pittsfield Motor Inn is a fine choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Martin Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Why not explore Upper Dam if you're here, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Sebasticook River. This site is excellent, just explore all the amusing things to do in the vicinity of Douglas Pond.
