Camping at Black Arrow Lodge is always a fine experience; Parlin Pond Stream is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby.       From a precipitation point of view Douglas Pond is a reasonably normal place; most of the rain falls through July, and February is the month with the least moisture. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Arnold Pond Trail, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Cupsuptic River. Camping is available at King & Bartlett Lake Camp, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Saddleback since you're here. There's nice hiking along the Bigelow Range Trail, and obviously, this is a splendid neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Hurricane Pond is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful.
