If the weather is delightful here at Doughnut Pond, you can go for a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail, and if you came to camp Northern Outdoors is a delightful spot to do that. If you get bored of Doughnut Pond, you could also check out close by Robinson Pond. Throughout the days of summer

This lake is so wonderful. Herbert Grand Hotel is a great site to get some rest; camping at Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is always a nice experience. From a precipitation point of view Doughnut Pond is a relatively normal

site; November is the wettest month with most snow; February meanwhile is the driest month. Doughnut Pond is not the only spot close by, Chase Bog is a close by lake, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Austin Stream.
But wait, there's more to do near Doughnut Pond. At Doughnut Pond you can observe Black Nubble, and Carrying Place Stream has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby.
