All the water falling down from the sky makes Doloff Pond a wet site; November is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites; a glorious place to camp here at Doloff Pond is Five Seasons Campground. This is a       popular spot for people from Augusta-Waterville, and nearby you stumble on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Camp Laurel. On a wonderful day you obtain a view of Hornbeam Mountain from Doloff Pond, and soar down the rapids of Sandy River in a kayak. Throughout the summer months highs here at Doloff Pond reach the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are                  in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Doloff Pond tend to be in the 0's. Stony Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. Lakes? Sure, Minnehonk Lake is nearby. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
