Small, family friendly but not with the luxuries you find at other campgrounds - which is the whole point of camping! There's beaches to explore, boats to rent, the Lobster Festival in Rockland, several lighthouses nearby like Owlhead just up the road and Marshall Point in Port Clyde - which, by the way, is the lighthouse that Forrest Gump runs up on his cross-country run! So many fun things to do, and lots of peace and quiet with a huge beach make for a great campsite for those who want to get away and spend time outdoors. ... |
