You can run the rapids of Little Ossipee River close to Doles Pond; after a long day outdoors Sanford/Kennebunkport Super 8 Motel is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of       Isinglass Hill can be distinguished from Doles Pond; camping at Blackburn's Camp Ground is always a glorious experience. Doles Pond is a pretty wet place mostly with a great deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Sanford Inn is a nice site to get some rest, and Doles Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Maine Mountain is a wonderful local campground. So much amusing                  stuff to do here at Doles Pond, too wonderful to be true. There's some flowing water close by, Brown Brook is a stream you can stop at while you're here; The Flowage Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Doles Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Doles Pond.
