Many people like to go to Doles Pond. You can run the rapids of Saco River close to Doles Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Blackburn's Camp Ground is a splendid site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Shawnee Peak, and Ledgemere Dam is an exciting thing to check out.
