Miner Brook is a delightful stream that is worth visiting, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Penobscot River - West Branch. There's great hiking along the Cedar Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Dolby Pond you'll meet some people from Bangor for sure, and don't leave Dolby Pond without first going for a hike along the Sandbank Trail.
