Doe Pond is a good spot of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. You clearly have to like Doe Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Doe Pond has to offer, you can camp at Wildwood Shores Campground, and paddling on Piscataquis River - East Branch is so much fun. This lake is       so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Big Squaw Mountain Trail is always a good adventure, and a delightful sight of picturesque Buck Hill is available. Take a side tour to Bennett Brook, and whitewater paddling is fine on Piscataquis River. This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely interested in lakes, Lake Hebron is one of those nearby, and Doe Pond is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Balsam woods Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby.                  There are great locations to look at along the Gulf Hagas Trail, and if you need a location to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a good choice. Near Doe Pond you come across the Intake Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Lakes are glorious; Doughty Ponds is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Doe Pond. All through the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Doe Pond. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
