There is a fine hiking trail close to Dodge Pond called the Hockomock Nature Trail, and Sheepscot River - West Branch has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. Crummett Brook is a wonderful local stream, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sheepscot River. At Dodge Pond during the summer       highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Dodge Pond drop into the 10's. There's always Colby Mills Dam to check out close to Dodge Pond, and if you've had enough of Dodge Pond, French Pond is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are really abundant here at Dodge Pond. Duck Puddle                  Campground is a good campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Waterville Inn.
