There's so much to do here at Dilling Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Neil E Michaud Campground is a wonderful site for that. From a rain point of view Dilling Lake is a reasonably common place; the month with most of the rain is August while February is commonly the driest month. Safford Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore; there's whitewater on Aroostook River for all you adrenaline       people. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dilling Lake, you could also have a look at stunning Bennett Lake, and Mars Hill Country Club is a great golf course nearby. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dilling Lake has to offer, you can camp at Arndt's Aroostook River Lodge and Campground; if you need a site to stay Crown Park Inn is a good choice. You can never get enough of the                  fine skiing at Bigrock, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Sweets Trail. At Dilling Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
