Have a good hiking adventure along the Bemis Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Dead River - South Branch. The amount of rain that falls at Dill Pond is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures       at Dill Pond through the long summer days are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Dill Pond. While you're here at Dill Pond you can take a hike along the Bigelow Range Trail, and you'll discover a striking lake called Quill Pond. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Dill Pond. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not take a look at Saddleback Lake in the vicinity of Dill Pond, and you can stay the night at Black Arrow Lodge. This lake is so wonderful.
