While you're here at Depot Pond it's a nice idea to take a look at Great Basin, and Dry Pond is a tremendous lake nearby. Depot Pond is a good place of typical rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Roaring Brook Campground is a good location to camp, and Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a brilliant place

| | to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Depot Pond there are plenty of people from Bangor, and going for a hike on the South Branch Trail is always a great adventure. Chimney Peak is clearly visible from Depot Pond, and get dripping wet paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream River. At Depot Pond through the summertime highs are in the 70's. are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Depot Pond all through the winter commonly descend into the-10's. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two; the
Chimney Pond Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. Any time is a good time at Depot Pond if you like the outdoors. Paddling on Sandy Stream is so much fun. Lakes? Sure, Pamola Pond is close by. Camping is available at Chimney Pond Campground; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Dudley Trail.
