Deer Pond is a nice lake to visit. Drift down the rapids of Parlin Pond Stream in a kayak; at Deer Pond you can distinguish Camera Hill. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Deer Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, King & Bartlett Lake Camp is a perfect local campground, and a day on the slopes of Saddleback is just what you need. From a rain point of view Deer Pond is a quite common place; of all the months in a year July

If you came to camp Black Arrow Lodge is a fine site to do that, and if you come at the right time of year, Cupsuptic River offers some delightful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sally Mountain Trail. There's great hiking along the Bigelow Range Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Wilson Lake Inn is a pleasant choice.

is a nearby lake that you could stop at; the Fire Warden Trail offers hiking at its best. Through the days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Deer Pond; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime
comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Deer Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is King and Bartlett Lake, and the snow is good at Sugarloaf USA.
