Beautiful Deer Lake has much to offer visitors. For the period of the summertime at Deer Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Eagle Lake Trail is a fine local trail, and Deer Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Cold Spring Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Narraguagus River; why not
take a refreshing hike along the Lead Mountain Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Deer Lake a relatively wet spot; November is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest.
