The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Deer Lake while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Deer Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cold Spring Campground, and if you want       to check out some exciting stuff, check out The Oxbow. Deer Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. You're probably keen on lakes, Haycock Pond is one of those nearby. Lakes are great; Bracey Pond is a lake that's near Deer Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Lead Mountain Trail; the sight of Jimmies Mountain                  is charming. Don't leave Deer Lake without first going for a hike along the Eagle Lake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at White Birches Country Club. Deer Lake really is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise.
