Many people like to go to Deep Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is glorious here at Deep Pond, you can go for a hike along the Howe; a tour to Ledge Falls will fill your soul with nice feelings. South Branch Pond Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and of course, this is a nice vicinity for people who like lakes, Russell Pond is a lake in the vicinity. Lakes are good; Turner Deadwater is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Deep Pond, and

| | get wet paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Stay the night at Chimney Pond Campground; the South Branch Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. While you're here at Deep Pond you can take a hike along the Wassataquoik Tote Road; Russell Mountain is clearly visible from Deep Pond. This lake is so wonderful. River is so much fun. From a rainfall point of view Deep Pond is a quite normal location; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. If you're here at Deep Pond, checking out Snub Pitch is a must,
and swing by Mullen Brook it's a fine site to go to. Summertime at Deep Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Deep Pond tend to be in the-10's.
