     The slopes of Sugarloaf USA are so inviting nobody can resist; if you need a spot to stay Herbert Grand Hotel is a tremendous choice. So many enjoyable things close to Decker Ponds, truly unbelievable. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Log Landing Pond, and camping is available at Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Northern Outdoors is always a wonderful experience. Lakes? Sure, Deer Bog  
   is in the neighborhood. Pierce Pond Stream is a glorious whitewater spot right next door to Decker Ponds.
All through the summer highs here at Decker Ponds get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Decker Ponds descend into the 0's. The Arnolds Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can run the rapids
 
               of Carrying Place Stream. Decker Ponds is a good site of normal precipitation; November is when you get the most snow here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
One of the overriding traits of the surroundings of Decker Ponds is Black Nubble, and dry warm beds await you at Bingham Motor Inn.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
