For the duration of the months of summer here at Deane Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Deane Pond. Camping at Riverbend       Campground is always a delightful experience, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Lewiston Auburn Area is a fine site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lost Valley is quite near. Deane Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Allen Pond Campground is a magnificent local campground, and if you don’t have a problem                  getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nezinscot River. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do close to Deane Pond. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Little Sabattus Pond near Deane Pond, and Chandler Brook has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. Here at Deane Pond you can see Little Sabattus Mountain; one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Auburn Municipal Beach. This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a charming lake called Allen Pond near Deane Pond, and golf can be played at Springbrook Golf Club.
