Bingham Motor Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kennebec River. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Black Brook, and a pretty lake like Squirtgun Flowage is a great place to go to. There's so much to do here at Dead Stream Pond that you need to camp here for a while,       Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a wonderful site for that, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Moosehead Lake. During the summer here at Dead Stream Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and the night is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Dead Stream Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. There's great hiking along the Arnolds Trail; whitewater                  paddling is brilliant on Moxie Stream. This lake is so wonderful. The annual rainfall here at Dead Stream Pond is about average; most of the rain falls all through July; February meanwhile is the driest month. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Dead Stream Pond. Don't leave Dead Stream Pond without first going for a hike along the Intake Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dead Stream Pond has to offer, you can camp at Northern Outdoors. This lake is so wonderful.
