Dead Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. A swamp like Swimming Bog in the neighborhood of Dead Lake has lots of attention-grabbing things to see; in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ossipee River. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Horseshoe Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Cold Brook

| | Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Cranmore Mountain. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dead Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lakeside Pines Campground. During the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at Dead Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Dead Lake are in the 0's. | |

Hit the slopes at Shawnee Peak close at hand; after a long day outdoors Pleasant Mountain Inn is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. Prays Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and Crooked River has
a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Province Brook Trail. There's so much to do here at Dead
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kezar Lake Camping Area is a magnificent location for that. Not far from Dead Lake, you'll find Kezar Pond which is a beautiful lake; the panorama of Carter Hill is pretty. The high level
of rainfall makes Dead Lake a quite wet location; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and September is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Dead Lake is peerless!.
On a glorious day at Dead Lake you can take a hike along the Weeks Brook Trail; a nice nearby hotel is Oxford House Inn.
