Daymond Pond is right by the Bald Mountain Trail, and needless to say Kimball Brook is a gorgeous stream that is worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Daymond Pond has to offer, you can camp at Moose River Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Penobscot River - South Branch. | | in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Daymond Pond. Daymond Pond is a good place of common rainfall; during July this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. You'll hit upon a pretty lake called Coburn Pond near Daymond Pond. Be careful coming to Daymond Pond, you might not ever wanna go home again. Stay the night at Jackman Landing | |

Campground, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Little Spencer Stream. While you're here at Daymond Pond, you could also stop by pretty Mud Pond, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Alder Brook Trail. A great nearby hotel is Herbert Grand Hotel, and do take a hike on the Sally Mountain Trail.
