A visit to Day Pond is always a good idea. Going for a hike on the Arnolds Trail is always a delightful adventure, and glorious skiing awaits you at Sugarloaf USA. Get covered with water paddling on Carrabasset; a magnificent place to camp here at Day Pond is Deer Farms Camps and Campground. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do near Day Pond. There is a splendid hiking trail close to Day Pond called the Fire Warden Trail; a lake close by is Grindstone

| | Pond. All through the days of summer highs here at Day Pond reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Day Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Titcomb. Camping is available at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground; a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. Wilson Lake Inn | |

is a good site to get some rest, and there are pleasant places to discover along the Bigelow Range Trail. Day Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; most of the snow falls during November; the driest month is February. Get yourself
into a kayak and hit Sandy River, and Day Pond is not the only place close by, Shiloh Pond is a close by lake.
