Many people like to go to Day Mountain Pond. Summertime highs at Day Mountain Pond generally tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is rather chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. The Fire Warden Trail is a perfect hiking trail close to Day Mountain Pond. Dickey Brook flows through this region, and Jessie Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. 40 Campground is a magnificent site to do that. If you get bored of Day Mountain Pond, you could also take a look at close by Nash Pond, and wonderful scenery and perfect skiing is what you obtain at Titcomb. Whitewater paddling
is splendid on Sandy River; camping at Twin Pond Campground is always a brilliant experience. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Day Mountain Pond; November is the wettest month with most snow, and February on the other hand is the driest.
